Weekend Rewind

On Friday night we bought Asa a sandbox as an early birthday present. We were not sure we would have room in the van for sand too, so we bought that Saturday morning. Asa looooooves it. We have played in the sandbox multiple times each day since then! AR likes it too and grins do big when you set her in it. I think she thinks she is big stuff to sit by herself and play in the sandbox with her big bro.

On Saturday we also had done carpets cleaned. As we are renting, I can stress myself out trying to keep the carpet perfect since it is not actually our carpet. We have the living room cleaned every 6-8 months just to prevent anything from setting and staining. It looks great! Asa was anxious at first when the cleaners arrived, but by the time they were finishing he was trying to invite them to his birthday party! :). He walked all over saying, "Oh it feels nice and soft.". Moving all the toys out of the room in preparation was also a fantastic excuse to only put back what the kids love to play with right now and put the rest in the basement to rotate back into circulation at a later date. It is do nice to have thinned out how much is out!

On Sunday we had church. This was my second week of bringing AR home after the first hour do she can nap. She fell asleep on the way home! While she napped, I live-streamed the sermon at CSPC. I am so thankful for this option!

Then it was time for more sandbox play. :)
