Five on Friday

1. We just finished a wonderful week of a visit from my mom. It was so nice to have her here. We took her to our library to play trains and choose books, to the sandbox playground & fed the fish there, on our usual evening walk, and on a walk to the goose pond one street over. And Matt and I were able to have a dinner date with G-ma here to babysit. Not only that, but there was no having to rush home for a hungry or fussy baby since AR is sleeping through the night! G-Ma left this morning and we miss her so much already! Counting down the days until our next trip home!

2. Anna Reaghan started waving in the last week. Now she wants to wave at anything and everything. The cutest has been her pausing while nursing to wave to the birds in the mobile that hangs above the rocking chair in her room. :)

3. On Tuesday during dinner, Asa looked down at the Swiss steak gravy on his plate and announced, "It is not bird poop. ..... Bird poop is outside.". Man, if that is not a vote of confidence for my cooking, I don't know what is! ;)

4. We are picking up a smaller sandbox this weekend, because Asa just loves the pool we found so much...as a pool. We decided to keep it available as a pool and get a smaller box for sand. I think Asa will be pleased. :)

5. Asa is starting to get excited for his birthday. I cannot believe it is this month! Ack! Three?!?!?
