The final countdown....

... of teaching, that is.

I'm about off to bed, but I thought I'd stop in really quickly. :) I haven't been around much, because we've been out of town a lot! We spent a week at Hilton Head with my family over spring break. Then we were back a week before we drove back to SC for Matt's sister's wedding. Stay tuned for pictures from both events. :)

Now I'm in my last week a teaching--what a strange feeling! Matt kids me about quitting work, but we both realize this is more like a job change than becoming unemployed. I thought teachers worked long hours.... just wait til Asa gets here! :)

Anyway, it's an exciting week, because I'll soon be able to focus more on the house and family. It's also a really emotional week as I transition my class over to a new teacher (she is with us all week which is great!). Matt and I realized that he will be out of town most of Friday, and I had a little mini-breakdown thinking I'd come home from my last day of teaching to an empty house and completely fall apart for the rest of the night. We realized we'll get to see each other after I leave work that day, before he heads to Orlando for a meeting (thank you, Lord!). I know I will really need a hug at that point. :)

All that to say, the first steps of the REALLY big changes are underfoot, and hopefully I'll be back soon to update you more on how they go and what we've been up to. :) We also have our 34 week appointment tomorrow, so I'll be sure to update about that when I can. We should get to see Asa next week or the week after, too (growth scan)! We'll let you know what we find out!

Thank you for your prayers and support, especially as we draw nearer to Asa's arrival and with my final week of teaching. :)

Much love,
Becca
