2. On Tuesday we had our laundry day and threw in a couple fun things, too. The kids made some art work for the playroom. Asa and Anna Reaghan each made hand print canvases and Lila made a foot print canvas. I plan to add, "Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God) across the bottoms of the canvases. They also love doing preschool workbook pages for fun, so Asa did a few and read me a story, and he and AR both did some fine motor control tracing/mazes.
3. Asa is still completely fascinated by legos. He spends rest time almost every day building and playing with Legos. He's starting to branch out into more detailed playable creations and scenarios of his own imagination AND he's starting to follow the instructions for simple builds on his own! It's amazing to see what he comes up with! We've started taking pictures of his creations. :) Oh how I looooove that boy!!!

Two cars made independently with instructions and a truck stop of his own imagination
4. Anna Reaghan played Cinderella this morning while I fed Lila. Here's a long (4 minute) video of her playing and imagining and just being Anna Reaghan. In the middle of it she accessorizes herself at Cindereall with "gwass swippers, a cwown, and grubs." Be still my heart. Also, I tried the next size of bow in her hair and was surprised to see it suits her. Oh my baby is growing up!
5. And speaking of growing babies, this little lady is a high chair baby now! Say it isn't so! She is staaaaaarting to get the hang of baby food. We've determined she doesn't love the consistency of straight up purees. She seems to prefer a liiiiittle more texture, so I add a little bit of baby oatmeal to our homemade purees (peaches are our best bet so far). She doesn't have swallowing down 100% yet, but she's starting to eat and swallow and open her sweet mouth when the spoon approaches. She's also great about letting us know when she's had enough--she just smiles with her mouth closed and/or gently holds the spoon at bay. In these pictures you can see her 2 little teeth! Oh we love our Lila!!
Bonus: a few pics of our SEVEN month old!
