Last Saturday my mom and I worked in the garage and made a huuuuge dent in the boxes out there. It felt SOOO good! This week I also gave away all the boxes and packing material we have unpacked so far. Woooo hoooo! Get out if my house, boxes! And don't come back! :)
Later in the week I unpacked several boxes in the study. Now that we are not sharing the shelves in there between toys and living room decor, I had more flexibility with the toys and could group together imaginative play toys, etc. The organizer + teacher in me are very happy. :). For now I have my homeschool materials in the study in our bench that has storage under the seat. Easily accessible but hidden from view (and little eyes). ;)
The next task is taking several boxes that belong in the guest room up to that room. And I have a revolving storage unit (it's really a media tower) we need to assemble that will hold and display my fabric.
And we have little details like finding curtain hold backs for the living room. Each window has one, but I want one on both sides so we can sweep both panels of our overlapped sheers (thanks, Pinterest!).
