Camera Phone Smattering

It seems it's the thing to do these days--upload your "cell phone diary" comprised of pics from your phone.  We do not have fancy phones.  For now, we have chosen to be accessible by phone and texting but not have our email and internet on the go.  If you need us, you'll have to actually call or text us!  If you email, you'll have to wait til we're home and able to read it! (the horror!)  There are SO many ways to draw boundaries around time and being present, but this is one way WE are trying to be present with each other and our loved ones when we are with them.

Anyway, all that to say, no fancy iphone camera.  In fact, our current phone models were specifically designed to replace our previous phones, but the camera is pitifully worse.  I think it's the wireless industry's attempt to push people into smart phones and data plans.... make all the non-smart phones increasingly junky... we'll see how long we hold out! :)

Either way, it's nice to be able to snap a memory and smile later on when revisiting the pictures.  Here are a few (some recent, some not-so-recent) I wanted to share. :)

post-vaccine fever :(

working on decorating the sewing/guest room to be a happy and inspirational space

Asa likes black beans

the beginning of a snorty smile

will Mommy never learn?  I came down from feeding AR one morning and found this.... Asa had been scrubbing the kitchen floor with Barkeeper's Friend and Swiffer dusters.

Asa knows lots of letters and sounds!

AR's first time at a restaurant

Matt & I went out to dinner during one of Mom's trips to Ohio

LOVE!

One of Asa's crafty creations from Bible study nursery

When we visited Ikea

Yes, there is a story behind this

My helper on one of his braver days

We had some snow... it piled up on the deck

bath time fun

He gets this from his dad

Trying to expand the bow collection from scraps I had on hand

I got this for a STEAL for AR this coming fall.  Asa loves the turkey and asked me if HE could wear it when it arrived in the mail.  I'll have to make him a matching shirt to wear, I think.

He decided to use his stool as a tunnel.  I love how he thinks!

We got a new mow-no

Our bunny family

I won these bunny ears, and Asa tried them on for me before AR woke up

Priceless!

Asa decided his dinos needed a graham cracker snack, too.
They congregated in the kitchen after nap time.

I can never get enough of this

Or this

Or this! Ha!  But seriously, a rare sleeping photo of our sleeping beauty, aka Miss "If you breathe within 10 yards of where I'm sleeping, I will wake up and you will hear about it"

Keeping tabs on the backyard (I love this one)

He got a inflatable seahorse as a surprise on the way to the beach

Standing and cruising the night we got home from the beach

Cuddles

Their first bath together (last week)

MORE things I can stand by, Mommy!

A little of the "right" orange

Thanks to Tebow, we're equal opportunity when it comes to that "other" orange as well
