Adventures in PetsMart (revisited)

This week we made a PetsMart visit again.  I was looking for materials for a particular graduation gift idea that led me to JoAnn's, and much to Asa's delight, PetsMart is in the same shopping center.

Our routine remains to visit the fish, then go by the birds and rodents, followed by the reptiles, any dogs in puppy training classes, and then the kittens before repeating all over again.

Asa was so so so so excited.  When I told him we could go to PetsMart after Anna Reaghan's nap, he started jumping up and down exclaiming, "I LOVE PetsMart!  We see the animals!  I love the animals! We see the fishies!  And the crabs!  I so 'cited, Mommy!"  #1--Can you say ADORABLE?  #2  Who needs a zoo membership with a reaction like that?  Not us--we let our family membership lapse.  PetsMart is free and 10 minutes away instead of up in the city.  Woo hoo!
