Weeked Rewind

Saturday:  On Saturday we woke up to SNOW!  I fed AR around 6:30 and there was no indication of the white stuff.  By 8:30 when she woke up again (for good), we had over half an inch!  Totally unexpected!  It was fun to show Asa when he woke up. :)  In light of the weather, we kind of lazed about the house and laughed at how surprised we were to see snow!  We decided to walk on the wild side and get pizza (half with no cheese for me) for lunch.  Asa was very excited, and it was YUMMY after 6 months without it, but I do think the tomato sauce was still a bit much for AR as her stomach seemed uncomfortable in the night.  So... close but not quite.  We'll wait a little longer and try again.  I can have ketchup again, so we're making small improvements. :)

Sunday:  Matt took Asa out to get a donut for breakfast before church--just the of them.  Asa was so excited to go to "the donut store where the donuts live."  He'd never been before.  Matt bought 2 chocolate glazed donuts, one of them cream-filled.  Asa told me they were "chocolate circles." :)  We met at church, dropped Asa off in the nursery where he did NOT cry or fuss, and then headed up for our class and the worship.  I took AR to the nursery during the worship service after I fed her/before the sermon.  Of course she had just fallen asleep when I picked her up after the service, but I got her back down when we got home--yea!  After lunch we got Asa down, and then I headed to the grocery store while Asa napped.  In the evening I played around with putting away some things for the craft room that I found as I have been working on reorganizing the basement.  And throughout the day I whittled away my "to do" list.  I didn't get 100% done, but lots of smaller details and some bigger things were checked off. :)

This week we are looking forward to G-MA coming to visit!  Hip hip hooray!!!!  I don't know who will be more excited to see her--Asa or me. :)
