Weekend Rewind

Saturday:  DADDY was home!!  Matt had his first business trip since Anna Reaghan was born from Wednesday to the wee hours between Friday and Saturday.  Asa was excited to wake Daddy up Saturday morning.  Then our two boys went to buy a snow blower. :)  We finally got enough snow that a shovel was not going to cut it.  We'd been watching Craig's list and really want to save money that way, but everything we were finding was very old and made Matt a little nervous about how much life would be left in them.  Asa was ENTHRALLED by the snow blower.  He kept saying it was making it snow again (as snow poured out from the shoot).  TOOOO cute. :)  Nothing really big the rest of the day.  The snow blower was our highlight. :) hehe

Sunday:  Asa (and I) are battling the beginning of a cold.  Our church nursery requests children NOT attend if they are in the first 3 days of a cold, and Sunday was day 3 so we stayed home.  We had a very relaxed morning.  Lots of Daddy and Asa playtime. :)  During naptime I ran out to the store to pick up some sweet potatoes to steam for Anna Reaghan's next food. :)  I also browsed Marshall's and found a soft lunch box/bag with Thomas the Tank Engine on it to hold the Thomas trains Asa received in the mail as a surprise this week.  Ever since we visited the children's museum with Nana in Rock Hill, Asa's train interest has picked up.  We keep his Cars (from the movie) in a Cars soft lunch bag and it's perfect--just the right size and zippers closed.  I had checked eBay, but this bag was cheaper than the cheapest one on eBay--thanks, Marshalls!

This week we have Anna Reaghan's 6 month check up (watch for her "happy 6 months" post coming soon), our weekly grocery trip, and hopefully a visit to the library.  Other than that, I need to decide what my next project will be now that we finished G-Ma's Jesus Storybook Bible canvas!  Soooo many ideas to choose from. :)
