Thankful Day 25

25.  Gadgets

So this is silly, but in recognition of "Black Friday," I am excited about a deal I just got in on!  I received a generous surprise from my grandmother a few months ago and have held onto it trying to decide on something fun to treat myself.  One thing I was considering was a Silhouette cutting machine.  It is kind of like a printer, but instead of printing things it cuts them out.  Even incredibly intricate designs!  It cuts paper, vinyl, fabric, etc.  The creative possibilities are endless!  Around this same time, the manufacturer discontinued its current design and unveiled a new, larger design.  At first I thought the only difference was size (and the price change that came with the size), but once the machine was released I read the new, larger machine was much quieter and people were very impressed with it.  At that point my attention shifted from stalking Silhouette SD (the former version) machines on eBay to hunting for Silhouette Cameo deals.  I read rumors there would be a Black Friday Silhouette deal.  I am so glad I held out!  I now have a Silhouette Cameo headed my way at the lowest price I have seen, thanks to the Black Friday sale.  I can't wait for it to arrive and to try it out!!!  Thank you, Grandma, for the treat of adding to my creative arsenal. :) :) :)  I am already thinking of some bee themed projects to express my appreciation. :)
