What Asa Likes

One thing Asa LOOOVES to do is go to PetsMart to see the animals.  He requests the outing by name.  He loves to see the fish tanks, look for crabs and bubbling treasure chests, and today he added snails to his favorite aquarium attractions.  After the fish, we stop by the birds and small rodents to see what they are up to.  Then it's a turn through the human society's kittens before repeating the whole process for another round... or two or three.

Here we are today on a drizzly fall September Monday making a visit to PetsMart. :)

Catching up with the crabs and frogs

Seeing if anybody is awake in the small rodent section.  One gerbil was awake, but everyone else was sound asleep.  Asa loves when the mice run on their wheels.

Spying on the birds.  He chirped back to them--they were very vocal this morning.  We decided they were singing, "Happy day, Asa!"

Looking at lizards.  He is fascinated by them--especially when they stand on top of each other to make a "tower" or "scratch the dirt."

I think the PetsMart people have finally figured out I don't need any shopping assistance. ;)  I'm just there to make my toddler happy!
