1. We have our sweet Asa back! It turns out his final 2 year molar is on the verge of breaking through, and that is what was wreaking havoc on our little guy yesterday. We are medicating with pain relievers and his amber necklace today, and he's back to himself--joyful, giggling, enthusiastic, and rather agreeable (especially for a two year old)! :) SOO thankful!
2. Speaking of enthusiasm, today the mailman dropped off 4 packages on our doorstep and Asa was *beside* himself with excitement. He was practically jumping up and down--it was too cute. :) Thank you, Aunt Janie and Uncle Randy for the packages that made.his.day. :)
3. One of the packages was also the Shutterfly photobook I made of Anna Reaghan's birth. You can see it here if you want to. :) I can't believe how much she's grown already!
4. Anna Reaghan had a shot yesterday, and she seemed to feel much more like herself than she did after her first shot two weeks ago. We love her precious smiles and coos. She even woke only once last night!
5. I went grocery shopping yesterday and learned a couple of things. :) #1 My preferred grocery store DOES carry a dairy free pizza! AND a dairy free mac & cheese. Woo hoo! #2 It doesn't matter how long the check-out lines are, you will not actually make it out of the store faster using self-check out when you have a week's worth of groceries, a toddler, and a baby who will wake up and be hungry any second. hehe I think my attempt to check out, bag, and load my entire cart by myself while wearing AR and trying to entertain Asa in the cart seat kept the employee overseeing the self-check out amused... or bewildered. Next time, we're waiting in line. ;)
