One Month Old!

It is hard to believe Anna Reaghan is now ONE month old!  The big day was on Sunday (Aug. 14th), and we celebrated with a little 1 month photo shoot at home.  Here's a little bit about AR at one month.

age:  1 month

-weight: 9 lbs. 13 oz. (up from 8 lbs. 4 oz. two weeks ago!)  75th percentile

-length:  22.5 inches  90th percentile
head circumference:  75th percentile

-still wearing newborn diapers, but will move to 1s after we finish our newborn box!

-mostly wearing newborn clothes, but definitely outgrowing some in length, some 0-3 clothes fit

-still lots of sweet fluffy hair, becoming less dark than it was with some reddish strands

-has a happy time in the morning when she is perfectly content to sit in arms, in her bouncy seat, or relax on the floor and watch everybody (Asa & me) play

-LOVE LOVE LOVES to be swaddled

-can be happy unswaddled for about 1-1.5 hours (especially in the morning) after waking up during the day before she is OVER being loose :)

-mostly eats about every 3 hours during the day... it's not unusual for me to wake her at 3 hours in order to feed her

-mostly eats every 4-6 hours at night... again, sometimes I have to wake her at 6 hour mark!

-LOVES to nap in the swing

-sleeps at night in the bassinet

-her eyes are still blue

-has a fussy time from about 8/9 PM - 11PM/midnight, but she is more easily comforted during this time than Asa was

-we love mylicon and gripe water when her tummy isn't very happy

-has a couple days her stomach works well and she is as happy as can be, then air starts building back up again and we have a few days that are more rough

-flashes THE most amazing smile now and then.  I'm talking mouth gaping open, often crooked, in a GIGANTIC smile that even makes her eyes crinkle.  I looooove it!

-Still loved to pieces by Daddy, Mommy, & Asa (Sammy is withholding her verdict ;) hehe)
