House Update

Just a little update to tell you the inspection period for the house in Florida has ended without ANY repair requests from the buyers.  PRAISE THE LORD!  They were rather stingy (in our eyes) with their offer, so it was hard not to wonder if they would be nit-picky about the house.  We had replaced every.single.appliance/system and had nothing major on our inspection when we bought it, but you just never know.  They moved the closing date up one more day another day earlier to Thursday, June 10.   I think to celebrate a bittersweet day and hopefully tip the scales to the sweet side, we will pick up some cupcakes from a local cupcake bakery.  It seems these places are all the rage in big cities with gourmet flavors and icing.  I think it will be a fun treat to celebrate good times and God's faithfulness.  Still hard to believe it will have been less than 3 weeks between MLS listing with our new agent and closing... in a month when home contracts in the US were down 40%!  WOW!
