Nursery To Dos

Writing the "to do" list on the last post made me really sit down and think of everything we would still like to do in the nursery. From "musts" (though nothing left is TRULY a must, it's all icing on the cake at this point) to "like tos."

Here's what I came up with:

• ceiling fan: buy, install
  
• blinds: buy, install
• hamper: buy
• trash can (small): buy
• curtains: cut, sew, hang
• shelves: buy, install
• closet rod (we'd like to add a 2nd rod below the first one): buy, install
• tree mural: sketch, paint
• wall touch-ups: paint
• birdhouses: buy stain, stain, attach one to wall
• side table: buy
• lamp for table: buy
• clean out closet
• baby book: buy, fill some out :)
• lovey: buy (2 or 3 to have back-ups)
  

crafty:

• finish Asa's quilt (2 blocks down, 14-23 to go... haven't decided on the final size)

-sew blocks, sew blocks together, backing, sandwich quilt, sew

• sew nursing cover (already have the fabric!)
• a few things (a travel changing mat like the Skip*Hop) depending on whether we receive one or not--no expectations and no complaints if we don't. I'm just waiting to see after our showers in Gainesville.

Now, we accomplished a LOT today. I'm going to copy the "room" list and show you how much we did/found today (everything that's bolded):

Is Matt a good sport or what--all that shopping! :) We went to several stores, and we found just the right thing almost every place (still looking for a lamp we like). I'll keep you posted as we keep working on the list. :) I'll post pictures of some of our finds soon, too.
