Five on Friday

1.  Last weekend we moved Anna Reaghan to her big girl bed!  She is doing well at staying in bed overall (we've caught a few sneaks) and sleeping well. She says she loves her new big girl bed. :)  It is still so weird to me that both Asa and Anna Reaghan are in beds and not cribs!  That happened so fast!

She seemed unsure for a moment the first night.  The look on her face suggested she would have jumped back in her crib in a heartbeat if given the chance.  But it was already disassembled and she gave it a try and was SO happy the next morning. :)  Here are some pictures of her new room set up.  We plant to swap her headboard for a section of white picket fence at some point. :)

2.  Here are the other kids' rooms, too.  Asa moved up to the double bed when we prepared Lila's room, and here is Lila's room in its entirety. :)

3.  Asa's last week of school was this week; his last day was Thursday!  We had a family picnic with his classmates on Thursday and stopped for milkshakes on the way home to celebrate. :)

4.  Mother's Day!  Matt and the kids made me a cookie cake that the kids helped decorate. ;)  Matt was trying to write "Happy Mother's Day" on it when Asa stopped him (eager to eat) saying, "Just write Mom.  We call her Mom.  Happy Mom Day."  And so it was. ;) lol

5.  Matt's parents are coming this weekend for a visit! We are excited to have them here!  It will be fun to show them how Lila has grown, AR's new bed, and Matt is trying his smoker for the first time this weekend to make some bbq.  He's always up for a new adventure. :)
