Anna Reaghan began crawling in earnest on April 20th. We drove all day to South Carolina and spent the night at Matt's parents' on our way to Hilton Head. After being strapped to her carseat all day, I am not surprised Anna Reaghan was ready to wiggle. I WAS surprised to see her push up and take off crawling like she'd been doing it for ages! Just the night before she still lunged forward onto her head and tried all sorts of crazy tactics to get where she wanted to go. But instantaneously she began outright crawling without hesitation! It made for a busy week at the beach! :) But we had lots of help from wonderful cousins, grandparents, and the kids' aunt and uncle (thank you, all!). :)
Then the night we returned home from the beach, April 29th, Anna Reaghan pulled up to a stand AND cruised around a toy box!! She has continued to crawl, pull up, stand, squat nonstop and is still tentatively cruising along the coffee table, our legs, and whatever else she can find. It is UNREAL to me how fast she picked this up. I'm not sure if Asa genuinely had more time between crawling and cruising (I *think* this is the case as he started crawling at 7 months) or if I just don't remember correctly how quickly he added to his "tricks." :)
Either way, she is LOVING her freedom and exploring EVERYTHING around her! Time to rethink our baby proofing!
Stay tuned--video should be coming soon! :)

She's just smart and coordinated, that's all. :)
Julianne is crawling everywhere, too. She can also crawl, stop, and then sit up. I think she is doing all this moving earlier as well. Maybe it's a girl thing?
