1. I know it's been quiet this week. No weekend re-wind as Monday was rough. Anna Reaghan seemed to be struggling with an ear infection. Asa has never had one (and, ha ha, it turns out AR hasn't either), but when her ear tugging turned into ear tugging + waking up screaming + crying while nursing I took her in Monday morning. Her ears were clear, of course, and we just have one very miserable teething baby. Oh boy! Don't get me wrong, I'm so thankful it's not an ear infection. But everything the ped said to do for her teething we were already doing.
2. We missed Bible Study b/c AR actually fell asleep for a morning nap before we left, and naps have been hit or miss with all this teething funny business. I hated to wake her, so we just stayed home.
3. Today we were BACK at the ped's office for another shot. Going every other week sure is starting to feel like we're there all.the.time. I *think* we're winding down and almost to the point we can just wait for her 9 month well visit. We might have 1 or 2 more shots first though.
4. Anna Reaghan is eating her first table/finger food! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a green bean lover! Asa is currently a big fan of them as well, so guess what little green veggie we've been eating a LOT of these days. ;)
5. Yesterday I heard Asa laughing really loudly while I changed AR's diaper, so I peeked down to check on him before I fed her. He was laying on the floor and said, "I'm just being silly" when I asked what he was doing. Cue maniacal laughter and more "I so silly. I'm just being silly!" while I fed her in her room (if she can see Asa, she won't nurse. He's too entertaining ;)). I didn't even know what to expect when I came downstairs. But I learned something. "I'm being so silly" = "I found a piece of styrofoam and I've shredded it into a million tiny styrofoam balls that I have scattered all over the living room and kitchen." It took me about 30 minutes to vacuum (with 2 kids who are scared of the vacuum) them all up. It's better than a permanent marker, right?
