Five on Friday

1.  Yesterday we hurried outside to see and gather leaves before it became too chilly or rain rolled in.  Asa LOVED being outside and wandering around the yard.  While he was asleep, I strung some of the leaves into a garland for the dining room doorway (pic to come).  We still have a bag full for other fun fall leaf activities. :)

2.  Anna Reaghan made it from her middle of the night feeding until wake up time--woo hoo!  The past couple mornings she had woken up with gas in between, but last night she slept through til morning.  YEA!

3.  My dad was the speaker at a Veteran's Day celebration today.  I wish I could have been there to hear him! Thank you, Dad, and all other veterans for protecting our freedoms and serving our country!

4.  Matt texted me that it was snowing up north of the big city where he works.  Noooooooooo!  I am really hoping we can finish out November WITHOUT snow at our house.  That would mean maybe only 5 months of snow instead of 6. :)

5.  I started off the weekend with a mishap.  I carried AR down the stairs, and I guess I was watching Asa over the railing and didn't line myself up well for the walk through gate at the landing.  I caught my left foot on the gate pillar as I passed through it and caught my baby toe.  I heard a snapping sound as I felt a rush of pain.  I am 99% sure I broke my baby toe!  So if you see me hobbling around in the next week or so, you'll know why.  It did get me out of grocery shopping today, though!  (trying to keep that whole "silver lining" idea alive!). ;)
