Five on Friday

1.  Anna Reaghan got the seal of approval from our pediatrician on Wednesday. :)  When we got out (basically just for appointments currently), everyone always comments on how much hair AR has. :)  She is on track for weight gain which is a HUGE relief to me after Asa's struggles.  Praise the Lord!

2.  Despite meeting expectations for weight gain, I had some concerns about AR and possible tongue tie.  Our ped referred us to an ENT who checked her out on Thursday morning.  He said her tongue looked just fine to him!  Another praise!

3.  We'll see a lactation consultant next Thursday for AR's 2 week weight check (she should be back to birth weight by then, Lord willing).  Our ped offered that instead of coming to the office so I could meet the LC (whom she obviously respects) and ask any other questions I have about AR.  I am so thankful for our ped's support!

4.  We had Anna Reaghan's newborn photo shoot this morning.  I can't wait to see how they turned out!  Again following in Asa's footsteps, she did NOT want to sleep during the shoot, but we got amazing awake baby pictures. :)  I saw a few the photographer flashed to me in between pictures, and I think they're going to be amaaaaazing.  We are so excited!  Asa even cooperated to hold AR for a picture or two of us all on the couch (it was lunch time and he had been amazingly sweet about staying out of the photographer's way, so 1-2 pictures with Asa was GREAT).

5.  Anna Reaghan was a week old yesterday!  How can that be already?!?!  We are all still quite in love with her fluffy-headed little self. :)
